A curious motif found in the former school of an abandoned Soviet garrison on the outskirts of Berlin: perhaps an allusion to the story of the pilgrims? Part of a series published by uncube in 2014, this photo is a deep cut from the years when I was fascinated by abandoned and decaying architecture in Berlin.
